Air pollution is caused by industrialization, vehicle emissions, biomass burning, dust, and windblown dust. Smog consists of fog and smoke particles mixed with chemicals that are found in car exhausts and industrial emissions. Air pollution can cause respiratory ailments like asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and others including lung cancer. India contributes 7% to global emissions. India emits about 3 gigatons of CO2 i.e. 30,00,00,00,00,000 (3 trillion) kg each year. With a 1.3 billion population each individual is burdened with 6.32 kg of pollutant air each day.

The patented device aims at capturing the emission from the exhaust outlet of vehicles and factory chimneys and filters pollutants before releasing exhaust gases into the atmosphere.

What do we do with it?

With the captured pollutants inside the used substrate materials are recycled and converted into a useful construction material for roads and buildings in rural areas.
